Shine: The Hits is Newsboys first compilation album, released in 2000. It includes songs up to Step Up to the Microphone, not including songs from Love Liberty Disco, their newest album at the time. Three new songs are included in this album: Who?, Joy, and Praises. Also included is a Mega-Mix of some of their hits, and a remix of Shine. Also, TobyMac appears in a new version of God Is Not a Secret. It was released through Sparrow Records. The album has been certified Gold by the RIAA. Newsboys' next compilation would be The Greatest Hits, released in 2007.
